A reminder that God is on the Throne, which means that He is allmighty.
He is able and willing to answer our prayers when we humble ourselves. God stays the same forevermore. It’s up to us to recognize His authority and to admit the need of His helping hand granted by faith in Jesus Christ.
“Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool.” - Isaiah 66:1
TESTIMONY
I got to experience Gods power in my life, which brings glory to His name.
God brought me to a new city, a neighborhood that He called ‘your home’. But the house I stayed in was packed with mold, which made me sick … For a week, I was ‘cleaning’ the walls, getting sicker from the falling mold. Only to find out there was more hidden in the ceiling impossible to remove. I stayed on the couch for two weeks, trying to find a solution; no luck. There came a new tenant for the room, and I was obligated to get out. Everyone around me agreed that the only solution was to move back …
But that did not sit right with me, God is all I live for and the last thing I want to do is follow any other path than His. For his plans are the best.
So the night before my dad was coming to get me and my stuff back, I decided to call him ‘you know what, do not come.’ He then responded: ‘What? Where are you gonna stay?’ I said: ‘i don’t know, but if I have to sleep on the street or on a couch, I will. However, I believe that God will come through for me! Because He said that ‘this is my home!’ That same night I had a place to stay. But something crazy happened after a month. In my room and my room only, mold appeared?! I immediately got on my knees, begging God to remove it or to keep me from getting sick. But He had even greater plans, even greater than I could imagine. For He asked me; ‘what would you desire for a place of your own?’ I backed down, like, ‘Lord, all I need is a place to sleep!’ but He kept asking, so I thought of a apartment high up, with a view on nature and maybe a cute windowsill. Preferably with an extra room, so I could share it with someone in need.
The LORD God Almighty went before me, and blesses me with the above.
Call on Me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you. - Psalm 50:15
This thought me that God is a good Father Who takes care of His children.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. - Hebrews 4:16
