Update
‘Before’ walking the right one isn’t right. Because the moment that I changed course in my heart, I started finding Gods plans for me. Even if they take longer to prosper. He started revealing them to me.
And the fulfillment I got from God was beyond imagination.
He filled my missing pieces like the loving Father that he is.
He cured my depression and anxiety with His light and friendship.
He saved me and gave me hope, faith in someone to believe in.
He taught me that I am enough by being His and all I need is in Him.
Context
I painted this while my gut was discontent. It constantly reminded me of how I was not on the right path. Which kept me from creating and from fulfilling my purpose of living my life the way God intended. I actually disliked that sense of truth, because it required to reform.
I just wanted to continue the life I worked hard for instead of having to turn it around. But I could not keep on running from my depression.
That unpleasant feeling - it was eating me up.
But what could I do about it? I had no idea what my "right path" actually looked like. So it was an act of faith to quit my path before I would be walking the right one. But deep down something told me to do so. Which honestly annoyed me. Because I was scared to listen to what was actually ‘unseen’. But it wouldn’t leave me alone.
